Hello Ministry Partner!

Sending out my blog to you always reminds me of how thankful I am for your support.  The amount of time I'm able to spend with students on campus and learn from my classes and readings would not be possible without you.  These students really are being blessed by the efforts our 8 member team that pours in to them in love and in turn are blessed by you!  You have direct connection to campus ministry and are doing effective Kingdom work.

Our work together is producing fruit like this:

Staff Retreat

Our staff team went on a retreat this month to rest, refresh, and connect with each other.  It's really special to get to be a part of a team of ministers who are passionate about campus ministry, learning, and love Jesus. Throughout the week various staff members shared about spiritual disciplines that have been impactful to them: humility, self control, surrender, prayer and intimacy, and sacrifice.  After the Prayer and Intimacy sermon we each spent the next hour and a half praying in solitude. That time with God was especially meaningful and refreshing to each of us.

Showcase

Showcase was incredible!  In my previous blog I explained that showcase is a fundraiser to send our students to a ministry conference called SICM.  This year I also got to be a part of the housebound!

If you missed it and would like to watch or donate, you can at this link.  I would highly recommend!

We are sending two girls from my small group to SICM, Aries and Anylah.  Please be in prayer for the two of them.  I'm hopeful God will really take a hold of their hearts to see the vision of His Kingdom.

On Campus

Sweet Faith!  She loves to sing for people and is very thoughtful.  She recently won the talent show at TWU! I love studying the Bible with her.  She's struggled in the past with feeling like she fits in, but tells me often how much she feels accepted in our small group - which is a testament to God's goodness and love He's shown through the girls in my small group.

An impromptu hangout with some more girls from UNT!  Emily, on the right, is one of the girls I study with.  She always has questions and insights about scripture and has been growing this year in her understanding of who God is and listening to His voice.  She's been a good friend to me this year :)
I also get to live in a house full of students and next door lives more FOCUS girls! This is one of the sweetest parts of doing ministry in Denton.

Some photos from out Thursday night fellowship - always a sweet time for our students to connect with each other during the week.

Thank you for reading!

Much love,
Becca
