Welcome Weeks and Retreats

Hello ministry partners!

I’m so thankful for each of you and your partnership in campus ministry. We just finished our two busiest weeks of the year which we call “Welcome Week”. This is when all of the new freshman move in and are most open to meeting new people and joining campus organizations. On these weeks, we and our students go out every day to meet people in the dining halls and host some outreach events.  Each year we’re anticipating the incoming freshman God is planning to connect us with and which strangers we meet in August will become good friends by May. God really blessed us this year already!

Before our welcome weeks, our staff team got to take a spiritual retreat to Glenrose, TX.

Keanna and Cathryn are the latest addition to our Denton stand team

We also took our student leaders on a spiritual retreat for a weekend of spiritual refreshing and bonding.

Azael came into our ministry last August after finding our org booth at his freshman orientation…God really worked in his heart this year and he got baptized last weekend!

Crafting, like painting tiny flower pots, is the best way we’ve found to connect with girls at TWU.

Me and my friend Emily from TWU coincidently matching

Our first small group of the semester went so well! Me and Diana are looking forward to building friendships with all these girls.

This testimony is from my really good friend Jessica:

Please be praying for our small groups as they start up and for our student leaders to look to God for strength instead of themselves.

Thank you for reading!

Much love,
Becca
