Hello ministry partners!
May has been a whirlwind. A few weeks after getting married, I got to go with our students to the Student Institute of Campus Ministry (SICM) in Washington, a conference that equips college students to live out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) on the college campus. We sent 140 students from campuses all over the metroplex to learn what it means to be a disciple of Jesus, to make more disciples, how to lead a small group, to do campus outreach, and many other things. We’re so excited for the fruit that will come of this in August when they put all that they learned into practice at their schools.
At SICM the students and staff stay with host families from a local church. My group stayed with our hosts David and Amberjoy on their goat farm!
We got to hold baby goats and feed them every night ðŸ˜

Somehow it’s already been five weeks since our wedding! Life with Joey has been sweet. We love being married to each other!
